Once upon a time, which is the way all good stories begin, there was a fabulous setting for children to learn about themselves and their world through their experiences with horses. These life lessons are available in part because of the special connection that naturally occurs between horses and the kids.

Horses provide a mirror to the emotional and mental state of children and allow them to examine their thoughts, feelings and concerns through a safe lens expressed in the behavior of the horses they are partnered with. Seeking to understand the horse you groom and lead about and learn to ride gives access to understanding more about yourself and your relationships with family and friends.
